Popped to celebrate my wife’s passing of her professional licensing exam.
Cork was in good shape. Narrow after popping showing its age a bit. Fill level was good.
Visually was the color of light apple juice and on the nose: bruised apple, honey, salted peanuts, butterscotch and salted caramel.
On the palate it confirmed the nose and had a wonderful crisp and bright acidity still intact. Very long finish.
Hard to see this getting better than now and I would drink up. Only place to go is down.
