Appearance: straw yellow.
On the nose: yellow fruit, ripe pear, banana, corn chips, saltine crackers, wintergreen mint/menthol.
Palate: Confirming the nose, plus some nectarine. Oily rich texture. High acidity to balance.
Finish: Medium+. 15-20 seconds. Acidity sits on the palate nicely. Energetic.
Overall impression: Solid wine at a decent QPR. First Rousette in a long while so mental references are not immediately available but overall a mid-tier good wine. Nothing astounding or profound but not bad either. Would happily drink at a friend's house - would likely not go out of my way to purchase for my cellar.
