Gorgeous wine, one of my favorite champagnes of the year.
Displayed on the nose a salted nut aspect that was not like sherry at all, cleaner and more bright eyed. Lemon juice and a chalky mineral essence were strong in the mix as well. Grapefruit and a green herb like parsley were well in the back.
It is extremely high acidity (very pleasant), with a fine mousse, though just barely as the carbonation was a bit more aggressive in the palate than what I'm used to.
